Our Courses
Our courses are designed for mid-career journalists of Nepal to impart digital skills essential to remain relevant on the digital journalism.
We offered 24 courses between 2023 to 2025; and we will be offering more courses beginning June 2026.
1. Data Driven Journalism
Focuses on collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to produce evidence-based stories. Journalists learn tools for data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, data visualization using Datawrapper and turning datasets into impactful stories.

2. Mobile Journalism (MoJo)
Trains journalists to use mobile devices to produce high-quality multimedia content. It covers video, audio, photography and storytelling techniques for digital platforms.

3. Podcasting for Journalists
Introduces audio storytelling, including recording, editing, interviewing, publishing, and promoting podcasts. Participants learn to produce professional audio content for digital audiences.

4. Fact-Checking and Verification
Builds skills to identify and counter misinformation using verification tools, and OSINT methods. It includes source evaluation, digital forensics, and ethical fact-checking practices aligned with global standards (IFCN) and writing fact-checks.

5. Digital Security for Journalists
Covers digital safety practices such as threat assessment, secure communication, privacy protection, and handling online harassment, essential for journalists working in digital environments.

Focuses on integrated storytelling using multiple formats (text, video, audio, graphics) for digital platforms, strengthening newsroom adaptability.

All courses follow a blended “6+6+6” model—two intensive in-person phases with a 6-week e-learning component—designed for working journalists.
